Since March 30 is only valid to the biometric passport
SANTO DOMINGO .- The Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) gave a deadline of March 30 this year for Dominicans make the change a passport. The Dominicans will have from that date a biometric passport to travel.
Currently around one million people in the Dominican Republic already have biometric passports. In the United States, Europe and other Latin American countries live about two million Dominicans should also make the change document.
Officials of the Directorate General of Passports (DGP) have launched a campaign designed to change their passports Dominicans in the shortest time possible.
